Video games

One of the main things I'll probably do is video games.  I like them. For know, I'll just talk about my favorite genre. RPG. Not first person shooters, that's the hated one. If a game has no story, it's a bad game. COD is bad for that reason. You just run around and shoot people for no reason whatsoever. Not fun.

Back on topic.

RPGs are fun just because they actually tell you why you're doing things. There's a fortress with a enemy general inside of the ___ faction and they hate you (and possibly you them) for ___ reason. Not 'oo, look, a fort. Let's blow it up.' Plus you can get emerged into the game world through various plot happenings. This happens in  action and adventure games too, but it's a lot harder to acheive. It helps that you are actually controlling a single character instead of a group of characters or a army. In older RPGs (and some newer ones) you don't really control your character, instead you click to move and do other things. This makes it feel more like a strategy. There are some adventure RPGs and other hybrids, and those actually usually make it more fun, like in minecraft.
SO that's it for today, everyone. make sure to rat me out for having a boring post!
